Our Natural Cooridor

The territory covers the entire watershed of the Rivière au Saumon, a natural corridor connecting Mont-Orford National Park to the south and the mouth of the Rivière au Saumon to the north. This sub-basin of the Saint-François river extends over an area of more than 290 km2 and is largely privately owned.

Chosen for its particular physical characteristics, its little fragmented forest environment and its significant biodiversity, the watershed of the Rivière au Salmon is a privileged environment for the establishment of a protected natural corridor.
